Kansas City Will Host ‘Summit on the New American City’

Kansas City will be the first U.S. location to host the Summit on the New American City in December.

The summit will feature mayors from throughout the country to discuss the future of U.S. cities and how they play a role in a healthy society and strong economy.

“Our cities are the foundations of our great country,” Kansas City Major Sly James said in a release. “How we build and design them, how we live and work in them, and how we make them centers of entrepreneurship and innovation are some of the most important questions facing our country’s future. We need to come together to explore the ideas and partnerships to shape our urban future.”
